I stopped on the way home yesterday to get my cruise control handle fixed!! So I'm back up & running. My thread keeps breaking so they said my tension is too tight. So I adjusted it & it still needs a bit more tweaking!

So I went to the yard sale meet last night, one canceled till next week. Met the other one. Than I was standing around these 4 ladies I hang out with. One had a no show on a Rival Roaster Oven. She said if you want it I'll sell it to you for 5 bucks!! LOL SWEET!! It has a couple of chips on the front but it's never been used!! It doesn't have a manual so have to figure out how to work it!! Guess google will be my friend!!

Anyone have recipes for it??? Please!!

And here's the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt

Wahoo another quilt off the frame!!

My Mom pieced the top for Susan's Mom. All it needs is the binding!! I'm off today so hopefully I can get it done! I have a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt to load up for a hair client. Her MIL made it & she just passed. She wants it for her hubbies birthday in June. It's getting just a meander cause the piecing is not great. She didn't use a satin stitch for the applique. So she fine with that will help hold it all together! I'll get a picture when I get it loaded. LOL first I have to finishing pressing the back & sew it together!!

Has anyone seen this site Quilting on a Budget?? I wanna try the press & seal!!

I was messing around with irons LOL trying to get 1 outta 2 LOL The one in the front didn't have a gasket just all the black looking tar on the counter. Shame on you Rowenta!!

Still goinggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Ugggghhhhh what a nite!! Roomie woke us up at 3:15, with a loud crash. Not knowing what it was I was standing up before I knew it!! LOL I go she's in the bathroom so I say her name & are you alright & what was that noise?? She opens the door & points at herself & said it was me. With that she falls forward & hits her head on the door frame & I'm like WTH, put my arms out to catch her & she's dead weight. So I knew I couldn't do anything without hurting myself. I just held on to her as she went to the floor. I yell for DH he comes running said is she diabetic? LOL I say yes, no she hypoglycemic!! I run & get a glass of OJ & she's not responding fast enough I said should we call 911?? He's like no not yet it will cost a fortune!! So she did this in the salon one time & I'm thinking, the window washer lady helped me that time as I was running to call 911. What did she do??? She gave her OJ too?? Oh, she put some sugar in it!! LOL I whip the glass from her & go put a spoonful of sugar in it. DH's is like don't try & kill her with sugar!! I'm like I'm not!!! But all in all that worked!!! Then I was so fired up I couldn't go back to sleep!! So I played on the Internet looking for that recipe with no luck:( I woke her up at 5:30 to check on her. She got up at 10 to 8 & if she didn't I was going to wake her up again!
I see a nap in my future!!

Happy Easter!

ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE
I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket
Walk softly and carry a big carrot
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears
There's no such thing as too much candy
All work and no play can make you a basket case
A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day
Some body parts should be floppy
Keep your paws off other people's jellybeans
Good things come in small sugarcoated packages
The grass is always greener in someone else's basket
An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare
To show your true colors you have to come out of your shell
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.
