I'd like y'all to meet Karma!! She's a rescued Pit mix who's had a rough start!! She was nursed back to health by a friend & is doing great!! I found her a forever home yesterday. So I went & picked her up this morning & delivered her to her forever home!! I only knew her for about 45 minutes & she kept running back to me & crying, Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

I took leftover egg roll wrappers filled them with leftover pork chops that I shredded up, sprinkled shredded swiss cheese on them. Than poured some sweet heat marinade, than folded them into triangles. Sprayed them with Pam & baked them till they were golden! Nom!! I put sweet heat marinade on my plate to dip them into!! Sweet Heat Marinade is made by Saucy Mama.

LOL I went to leave for work this morning & saw this in my driveway!! My roommate said he had some stuff to put on Craig's List. This just cracked me up!!!

So I made lemon bars for my lonely cake plate & they were an EPIC FAIL!!! Guess I didn't let the crust cool off enough & the eggs cooked first, Ewwwwwwwww!!!! So I just had to share the picture!! LOL

Than this is my redesign of the Mini Bow Tucks purse. Check out that recessed zipper that I learned how to do!!! Don't you just love the fabric!! I love it cause a very dear blogger friend used it to make a quilt & I found out it's The Day of the Dead & it's a celebration of life!!!! Cool!!

So I totally forgot yesterday to post a picture:( I got home from work around 6:30 & was so cold I snuggled up on the cuch with a nice warm quilt & was out!! I woke up & headed to bed!!  Plus my tummy is having issues?? So today I cooked!! Yay I decided that buying lunch out at work was costing a small fortune! I had to go food shopping big time!! Got some great deals!!
So I cooked a pork roast in the oven with a rub of olive oil, salt, pepper & garlic. Put a beef roast in the pressure cooker with the same rub.
Put a pot of pinto beans on, NOM!!


Plus made chicken parmigiana!!! I used simply recipes, recipe!!



I'm going to package these all up in meal size & freeze so I don't have to buy lunch out!!! I'm waiting on the chicken to cool & I want to taste it so bad!!! LOL

So My Mom picked out the floral fabric for a Bow Tucks she wanted me to make for a friend of her's. I told her I didn't like it!! LOL she said she didn't really like it either??? Such is life!! So I went & got different fabric & everyone was happy!! Yay!! So my Mom said to make her a tote bag out of the floral fabric, said OK but the fabric wasn't moving me to work on it. I told her that on Tuesday. So today in between clients I took the selvage strip to Joann's & found the perfect inspiration fabric!! So this is my Mom's new Market Tote! Found the tute here  I didn't use the ribbon on the handles but should have used batting in them. I did put 2 pockets in it instead of one.

Vegetable Soup with Ground Pork
 2 tablespoons cooking oil
 2 onions, chopped
3 carrots, halved lengthwise and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices
2 ribs celery, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1-1/2 quarts canned low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock
1-3/4 cups canned diced tomatoes with their juice (one 15-ounce can)
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 bag of frozen green beans
1-1/4 teaspoons salt
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley

In a large saucepan, heat the oil over moderately low heat. Add the onions, carrots, and celery and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables start to soften, about 10 minutes. Stir in the broth, tomatoes, tomato paste,green beans, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, partially covered, until the vegetables are almost tender, about 20 minutes. Brown pork in separate frying pan, drain off grease & add to pot!

After Church I went to Pier1 I had a gift certificate from last year. I had returned the gift I got from work cause my reason for cooking was gone :( So I found both of these on clearance!! YAY!!
