OMGosh you guys I had the most fun at work today!! The bench tech loaded Windows 7 on a Vista computer. I got to do the speech recognition on it!! Took about 45 minutes to get it all set up! So now I can put the head set w/microphone on & talk to the computer & does what I say with NO mouse Or keyboard! It's freaking awesome! I lost it when it said to say "change this thing" I whipped off the headset & there's Susan cracking up behind me!! LOL best thing is it only listens to me! Susan tried to say a few things but it messed up on her & the tech tried too & nothing! tee hee
I did our taxes on Turbo Tax yesterday, but it will not let me e-file?? Going to have to find out why??
DH worked at the temp place today delivering wicker furniture. He got a nice wicker couch & chair the people were going to throw out?? It's really beautiful!! I'll try & get pictures tomorrow!
Tee hee I forgot to tell this when DH worked painting that beach house last week he brought drapes home they were getting rid of. Told me they were nice NOT LOL looks like a circus threw up on them!!

Updating!!
I didn't hear from Kellogg's, so called them on Friday. They said it was just not mixed in product. They are sending me a coupon for a free box. I have to call them with the product codes today, I didn't have them on me at work!
Then our kitchen sink clogged up??
Ughhhhhhhhhh we have worked on the stupid plumbing & are not able to get to the clog. I have crawled under my house & ewwwwwwwwww I got to in the middle & started to panic LOL I's a scaredy cat!!! So no kitchen sink for me yet boo hoo plus one of the pipes was cracked so we replaced that & it still leaks lol DH & I had a few choice words for each other!! Yes Dear!!! So have to call a plumber in. I want to switch the pipes under the sink to PVC. We had the P-trap replaced 2 years ago?? I think it should last longer?? No??
Than I found this: Moda Bake Shop
Scroll down to Basket of Turnovers. Is that not too cute!!
Here's what I did with some scraps, was fun next time I'm going to try the half squares too!! I also made it bigger for a baby quilt instead of a wall hanging.

Never a dull moment!! LOL
Had a busy day yesterday I put a pork loin in the crock pot, made Harley's food, than fixed breakfast. Went to church, took a nap & made curtains for my living room finally!! I had bought a roll of fabric at a yard sale for 5 bucks. So I got 2 long curtains for the slider & 2 short like toppers. Store bought toppers get lost in that window cause it's huge!! I still have to hem one long one. I also got white poster paper & cut it to fit in my one bedroom window. Neighbor's kitchen door is lined up right there & he's not something I wanna look at ewwwwww plus they have a light from the power company that glares in!

-------- ------------ --------------------------------
INGREDIENTS
Baking spray (cooking spray with flour)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda and salt
2 sticks unsalted butter -- (1 cup) softened
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 Tbsp grated lemon zest
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt -- stirred to loosen
Sugar Glaze
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
Heat oven to 325°F. You'll need a 10-cup decorative tube pan or a 12-cup Bundt pan coated with baking spray. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and soda, and salt.
2. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, lemon zest and juice with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time until blended. With mixer on low, alternately beat in flour mixture and buttermilk until batter is smooth. Scrape into prepared pan; level top with spatula.
3. Bake 55 to 65 minutes until a wooden pick inserted in cake comes out clean. Cool cake in pan on wire rack 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, make the sugar glaze: Whisk glaze ingredients in a small bowl just until combined (sugar will not be totally dissolved). Invert cake from pan onto rack; place rack over a baking sheet. Brush glaze all over hot cake until absorbed (sugar crystals will be evident). Cool completely. Transfer cake to a serving plate and cover. Let cake rest several hours, or overnight, before serving. Store cake covered at room temperature up to 4 days. Cut into thin slices to serve.
Tip: Use lime zest and juice for a zesty alternative
