tastykake peanut butter kandy kakes

Mix together:
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons oil
Add:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
Peanut butter, smooth
12 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces
1 tablespoon oil
Beat first 4 ingredients. Add next 4 ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
Take out hot cake and immediately spread with peanut butter. Refrigerate until hard.
Melt chocolate with 1 tablespoon oil and spread over peanut butter and chill till hard. Cut into squares.
********** EDITED TO ADD*********** I used a Wilton jelly roll pan 15.25 x 10.25 x .75in. Plus I used about 1 cup of peanut butter. Hope that helps!

Oh. My. Goodness!! Tasty Kakes are my most favorite Kakes in the whole wide world. I had never heard of them but found a friend/sister from PA and she made them. Oh. MY. GOODNESS!! I want one RIGHT NOW! :D Oh, and those bags and wallets are too cute. I'm 'bag challenged' otherwise I would want to try them too. :)

Great bags. I've never worked with magnetic clasps but love using them on bags I've purchased. I am copying that recipe......LOVE the sound of it!!!

Just a quick catch up here after being gone...

I love all the sewing you've been doing. The jelly roll bags, the boxy bag, the red and white quilt and that fabulous squares scrap quilt. I also enjoyed printing off the recipes.

Congratulations on your over 400 posts!
