Memorial Day

Hope all have a great day!
We are not doing much cause I played lumberjack on Friday & killed my back!! So been taking it easy. I did get the pink & brown quilt quilted & bound. Made a blue bandanna-rama. Watched a couple of movies thru my eyelids! LOL
Hope to grill some burgers need to come up with some sides to go with them.

Yippiee!!

So on those little bags. I left a comment asking for tips, hints etc. She emailed me back!! So yippiee This is what she said"Thanks for your comment. It takes a bit of practice to get the seams to match. I usually press them going in opposite directions and then pin right on the matched seams. The bulk (of the seam allowances)going in
opposite directions seems to help.;"
So it worked!!!


I took a ride to Wallace with DH yesterday. Stopped at 2 thrift stores
$3.00 for all this!!


DH got this for $1.50


Than while he was helping his cousin. I used a small jelly roll. There were 2 strips of 10 colors 2 1/2 total yards. I used a 5 inch block for the center & got strips for 3 blocks out of 2 strips. So I have 5 blocks x 6 blocks, fun!

Today's find Wilton's heart cookie pan $1.00 online $7.49!!



I finished quilting the square in a square quilt!! Need to get the binding cut.
Than I made these patchwork bags. I can't get the seams to match & I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong?? These 2 bags have been taken apart so many times!! LOL they almost went sailing!!
